Forced Family Fun in Fresno

Ok, here is our weekend in Fresno.... We packed a lot in and it went by way too fast!

First up, Jacob's football game. We were all in our red showing school spirit!

Tate thinks Jake is like an NFL player!

It was homecoming night and Jake's girlfriend, Jess was nominated for queen!

Saturday morning Ambra won some points with the kids when she pulled out the finger paints. Sigh.

Then we headed to Kyra's football game. It is NOT right to be playing football in October when it is nearly 90 at noon! Poor Kyra!

A little goofing around during the game

Kyra is the only girl on the team- a celebrity in MY opinion!

Saturday afternoon we headed to my dads for his bday celebration. Almost a whole family picture- Frankie Jr was missing. He chose a school dance over us- what?!

A little eating and drinking....

A little swimming

And a little hiding in the corner talking to your girlfriend!

But the best of all- cake!

Sunday we headed out to Gianna's soccer game...

Tate was missing Nick and had to play cars in the dirt with his sister. Yuck! (I will always think of Tate and Nick getting dragged around Europe together, being such troopers- cause all they needed was each other, some dirt and a few hot wheels!)

Gianna is an amazing soccer player. That is why she has games on Sunday, since she plays in a special league...They won today and it was a qualifying game for the state championship!

After the game we headed out to the only u-pick pumpkin patch in all of Fresno County! I challenged my sister to find one and she did. Crazy she has lived there for 10+ years and never knew about it! This place was great!

The name is "single palm pumpkin patch" can you tell why?

Macy's first hay ride!

All the girls on the hay ride

And all the boys

There were animals...

Fresno is know for raisins, not pumpkins. So it was only fitting that there was a Vineyard next to the pumpkin farm!

Next up, corn maze. "Hi there Brian.... You are a navigator, can we follow you?"

This is a fake smile I have... Cause I hate corn mazes.

This was more my style- a spooky barn/hay bale maze!

And now we are off to pick our pumpkins!

Kayla was on a (very long) search for the smallest pumpkin....

Our whole gang

Just the cousins

A little break...

This was the owner's son... He got dragged around the pumpkin patch barefoot during the hay ride. The social worker in me wanted to scream!

Time for home...

Awesome weekend, lots of laughs and precious new memories. This was the first time we have all been together since Dec 2008!
