she's 3!

as you have seen, prior to macy's actual birthday, she had two "pretend" birthday celebrations. on tuesday, she had another- at school. check out the crown-

 wednesday morning she woke up to find the house decorated, donuts for breakfast and presents galore!

 unfortunately, the first present she chose was from the lead betters. a portable humidifier. she wasn't thrilled-

 (a week later, i found that to be our favorite gift though!)

she liked the castle blocks much better-

when tanya and robin woke up, they had special presents from germany too. the favorite- a steiff teddybear/lamb baby-

 macy got so many calls that day- here she is talking to nanna in tennessee-

 we had two new friends (both boys, oh well) over for a breakfast playmate/party-

 we even managed a quick trip to the splash park and playground that afternoon-

 tate can't resist climbing a good tree-

 that night, tate had his last baseball game-

 macy brought her new glove and loved getting some time with brian-

 for dinner, she chose mcdonalds-

 tate's friend, jaxson and his brother- mace's friend, ryder- also came to mcdonalds-

 we went home to eat cupcakes and open a few more gifts-

what a wonderful day we had celebrating macy! looking back on the past year, she has blossomed so much. she is less shy, more talkative and of course- stubborn! she's funny and sweet and would like to be just like her big brother. she still loves her baby lulu and her "taggie" blanket too. but she is growing to be so independent and gains confidence daily. i wish her hair would grow, but I'm glad that she still loves to cuddle up with us...
