Whether here or in America, everyone has their own favorite pizza place. So we decided to have a battle of the pizza place and invited 2 families over to decide which place had the best meat & mushroom pizza... 

And we were the winners!

In April a tragic accident happened here in Indonesia when a navy submarine sank of the coast of Bali. Brian got the call over breakfast and flew out by lunch...

And became a local celebrity when he made the national news- 

I volunteered Tate to be a model for his tutoring company. Oh the things I make this kid do...

Now this one I had nothing to do with and was surprised when a friend sent it to me- 

Ade Putri is a famous Indonesian chef and beer aficionado. My office has paired up with her a few times for some food events. Crazy enough a guy from Bend, Oregon just opened a small beer tasting room that we can walk to. When Ade found out that we were going to be there on opening day, she decided to meet us there. It was pretty awesome to be with a celebrity, and one so very sweet and down to earth.
