since our 3 yr old goes to kindergarten every day, i guess it's only fitting that we would have to participate in PTA stuff now...
yesterday our town had a little festival and the stores got to be open on a sunday! our kindergarten set up a booth, like a cafe, and sold cakes and coffee. (see picture above) so brian went at 930am to lug tables, chairs and set up the tent- and deliver my two cakes which i made. (yummy 4 layer pumpkin pecan cake and ooey-gooey butter cake!)
my camera battery wasnt charged- so not too many pictures. but there were many food tents- brats, beer, wine, flammkuchen (like a thin crust pizza with white sauce- so good!) and gluhwein (warm, spiced, red wine- also so good!) were our favorite. plus a small carousel and horse & pony rides- plus ATV races- for kids.
brian took this picture of me, sarah and all the kids as we enjoyed some lunch. (shane is on the 2nd level of the cool stroller!)
even in germany, a firetruck is so exciting to a little boy!
