early father's day celebration

since i wont be here for father's day next weekend, we celebrated early today and had a little bbq and pool party! the temp was in the high 90's so we really enjoyed the cold pool!

tate was trying to surf with jake!

i was hoping that tate would learn to swim on his own during this trip home. he came so close this week- but then got scared when he tried one time and "sank" as he calls it. so we are holding off for a little longer and just letting him enjoy the pool.
