Lt. Col. Brian McCullough

on monday nov 1st brian was officially promoted to Lieutenant Colonel! the kids and i all went to the ceremony, which was wonderful! there were about 30 people there from his office, including the two star general and his wife- such an honor to have them there to celebrate brian!

this picture is hilarious! this is brian's boss, lt col john ellis. he is a great guy. he is a "double kisser," meaning he kisses you on both cheeks, like many europeans do. well, this picture happened to be taken during our "double kiss" and looks very, very awkward! hope it doesnt go circulating around the office!

all dressed up for "daddy's party!" (tate threw a HUGE fit about wearing a suit because "football players dont wear suits!)

after the ceremony- brian shares a few beers with his coworkers

during the ceremony- i had to bring a bunch of "tricks" in my bag to keep the kids happy (or should i say quiet!)

although- this picture shows how welcoming everyone was... this is general shafer sitting on the ground playing with macy! it's not every day you find this happening!

brian is wearing his shiny new rank, which tate (held up by general shafer!) and i proudly pinned on him!

and who knows what this new promotion will bring in the future... the air force has been good to us so far!
