sunday 11/28- homeward bound

alll good things must come to an end.... sunday morning we say good-bye to all the fellona's and headed home. sarah and mike are amazing people and parents. raising 4 little girls is a full-time job that they do with ease. just being around sarah makes me feel a better mom. she is good for my soul. i hope someday we will live close by eachother again...

off to the airport:

who needs a stroller or high chair when you have a luggage cart and daddy's belt?

say cheese!
we planned the flight perfectly around macy's nap... but there was a 2 hour delay. so brian read, tate watched a movie and macy slept!
"we are now ready to board the flight to stuttgart" said the loudspeaker man.
"yeah!" said macy.
let's go!

"are we there yet?"
every once in a while it hits me just how lucky we are to be living in europe! i try not to take it for granted. sometimes it just feels like we are on an extended vacation here.this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. not many people can just hop on a plane and fly to spain to spend thanksgiving with "old" friends! sarah and i shared stories this week while together of feeling frustrated with this or that while living overseas. but the hardships just dont compare to the travel and memories that we have made while being here...
