a fun night out making wreaths! it was wonderful to watch these be created- from just sprigs of green. (im in the back, hiding my face in my wreath!)
my friends and i have been taking cooking lessons with a german neighbor- this month was traditional german christmas cookies!
off to buy our christmas tree. yup, this is the charlie brown christmas tree farm in our town!

on christmas eve, we had an open house. 9 families (with kids and visiting in-laws) were invited! santa surprised us and came at 6pm while brian was reading 'twas the night before christmas. it will always be a wonderful memory for us!

brian was in charge of the angel tree program in his office. over 150 local, needy german children received gifts! we coordinated a wrapping party to get all the gifts wrapped- it was a fun morning.

it was a magical christmas because it started snowing at 8am on christmas eve and didnt stop until 4pm christmas day! brian took the dogs out on the 26th and snapped these great shots...
i hope you all had a great christmas too! and happy new year as well... ours was a fabulous night spent at sara's and chris' with most of our friends. we ate, played games, shot off fireworks and drank a bit too much!
