wow, i cant believe that two years ago yesterday i arrived in germany! i really did not know what to expect... i was 27 weeks pregnant, spoke no german and i thought my previous travels to england, bermuda and tijuana, mexico had been pretty foriegn!
the past two years have been filled with new experiences and challenges that i would not trade in for the world. this has been such a unique opportunity that our family was lucky to be given. it is bittersweet that we are already planning our move back to the states in may. we have missed some things in the states while here and i know that we will miss many things here when we are back in the states. the grass is always greener, right?
most of all, we will miss the traveling! in the last 2 years i have been to:
england
austria
switzerland
poland
czech republic
spain
italy
france
lichtenstein
and of course germany-plus next month we are headed to belguim!
this list amazes me because i never thought that i would travel 10 ten countries in europe in my lifetime, never mind 2 years. it's crazy that i grew up in massachusetts and never even made it to canada...
