this month for book club we are reading a classic- wuthering heights by emily bronte next month is- lamb: the gospel according to biff, christ's childhood pal by christopher moore
go get them from your local library (which by the way is an incredible, underused american resource!) or bookstore today and you are sure to have something new to chat about at the next cocktail party you attend!
and i'd like to give a shoutout to two authors in my own family!
last year, my father-in-law published his first book: taking the measure of christianity by george mccullough

and another family member (get this- my father's, stepbrother's, wife's, neice. HA!) wrote:
the herione's bookshelf by erin blakemore
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=the+herione%27s+bookshelf
this last book is the one that prompted me to begin reading/watching all the classics that i have somehow missed in life... so- go get these two books as well and you will really be knocking some socks off at that cocktail party! (make sure im invited too, okay?)
