a couple to remember

last night, the girls made dinner for US! what a treat- 4 courses and it was delicious, with a few tastes of germany even! 

the best was the last course, what they said was our surprise... a watermelon soaked in malibu rum and champagne!

i felt like i was back in college!

 they wanted to cook for us as a thank you for hosting them this summer. brian flew out this morning for the next 3 weeks to korea, so it was the last night they would have seen him.

today i went in to check on macy during her nap, and this is what i found-

a bed FULL of dolls and she was wearing a hat. kind of odd. i guess she is sad about the red sox season... she's  a funny, funny girl and i snapped this picture to remember that i too, must just laugh sometimes!
