sesame street, take 2!

when we lived in germany, the USO coordinated a 'sesame street live' performance for the military kids living overseas. i was SO excited to take tate! it was oct of 2009, so macy was just a baby and slept in her infant carrier the whole time! 

(i remember the day so well because as i walked into the performance, my best buddy sara leadbetter called to say she had just given birth to another baby boy, shane!)

so- now here we are in california and the USO was again putting on this show last weekend. tate did NOT want to go, but because macy had supported him during his triathlon earlier that day, he (and brian!) HAD to come along to the sesame street show for macy.

 we were far enough away in her opinion!

 she enjoyed the show, but got a little clingy when the characters walked into the audience!

 daddy, busted! (sure, it was for work...)

 at the end, the kids could go up close to the stage. with some prompting we went up. macy is on the left, white shirt and pig tails-

 the characters came REAL close, but macy was fine all by herself-

great show. but glad we won't have to go again! HA HA!
