she's at it again- growing up!

mac started back to preschool 2 weeks ago. this year she goes 3 days a week- m, w, f from 9-12. YIPPIE for us both! she had NO problems saying good-bye the first day-

she also started back to gymnastics this year. again, with her buddy bryton- but this year they are in a class of their own, so no more "mommy and me!" (i love the 45 minutes i get chatting with hailey on the bleachers kid free!)

and how about this? she is still a tomboy! we go to the church festival and she is so excited to have her face painted, which tate hates. but what does she choose? a snake!

she wanted green, i'm lucky to have gotten her to go with pink!

two very exciting milestones- macy can now open and shut her car door and lock herself into her carseat! that makes life so much easier! (and i am kind of thankful that she cant unlock her own carseat yet...)

she is also FINALLY sleeping through the night! before she was 2, she woke up at least once a night. there were a few weeks where she began sleeping through the night- then it was time for potty training.

now, i'm not complaining because macy potty trained during the day and at night at the same time- woo hoo! no pull-ups and no accidents. BUT, she would get out of bed at least once a night, wake us and ask to go to the bathroom. she was quick and went right back to sleep, but it was sooooo disruptive. (i just kept thinking- better than buying pull-ups or changing wet sheets at 6am, so i did it!)

then in august we went camping and she slept two nights in a row. then we went to my sisters and she slept 3 nights in a row. now it's been about 43 nights in a row! thank you lord!
