Last month we celebrated our annual post- Christmas with the Farnham/Roth family. Brian actually went down a day ahead of the kids and I to meet up with Bob for their annual duck hunting trip. (I HATE that all these annual events will be coming to an end...) Although they only got 1 duck (Brian's first shot of the day too) because of the extreme draught conditions we are having here in Cali, it was still a great time for Brian. Especially since Bob has a new hunting dog this year, and Brian loves watching sporting dogs do their work!
Anyway.... The highlight of the night- Christmas presents, of course!
Lynn gave each of the girls matching UT barbies!
Any they each got a Nerf gun!
What you don't see are the amazing Star Wars comics that Kristen gave to Tate. Once Brian realized what they were, he snatched them away from Tate and they are now in our safe! Okay, maybe not. But Tate is only allowed to take them out of the protective packaging with Brian at his side supervising!
This next gift was very hands-on... We gave Riley a Tattoo set and everyone got in on the fun-
Old fashioned sack races!
And egg-on-a-spoon races (no real eggs, bummer.)
You may ask "Why isn't sweet Wesley in any of the pictures having fun with the big kids?" Well, here is your answer-
Too cute, right?
It was a fun morning with the dads joining us to toss around the football too. Followed by a sad loss for my Patriots though...
In December, Chris, Hailey and I got together to make these cute little Christmas tree ornaments-
For Kristen
For Lynn, since her house at Tahoe got broken into by a bear TWICE this fall-
They were a pain in the neck to make, but I vow to make myself one next year!
One last Christmas note... This was the most thoughtful gift we have ever received from a co-worker-
