Macy's troop was one of the few chosen, of many that applied, for a special girl scout volunteering weekend at the DC Diaper Bank. Macy always loves going and was thrilled to bring along her friends this time-

The girls loved it, and a few even said they wanted to do it every weekend! While that might get old, I love seeing kids come alive when given the opportunity to volunteer and give to others who are less fortunate...
And where did they want to have lunch? Not at the picnic tables, but in the back of our vehicles. Odd balls.

Also in November, Macy got to go on a Girl Scout campout too! While this isn't her first, it is the first with her new troop, which is full of her besties. And it was cold, but these girls didn't care-
