I was itching to go explore Seoul more, so we decided to go into the city for the night. The military has a hotel- The Dragon Hill Lodge- that is supposedly a beautiful property right in the heart of Seoul. So we decided to stay there and just go explore...
We checked in and set off on foot to the Iteawon area- very hilly and full of small alleys to explore. It was awesome! This picture doesn't do it justice-
We walked off the beaten path so far and so long that when the following morning I realized I'd left my credit card in one of the shops we went into, Brian actually said it wasn't worth trying to retrace our steps to find the shop again. And get this- the owner actually called the credit card company to report my card lost. How honest is THAT?!
I loved walking the city that day- it was so cool. The sites and the temps! And the view from our room was great-
The lit up pink tower is Seoul Tower, at the top of Namsan Mountain- which we would hike the following morning.
