my sara

yesterday sara invited us to come to her town for an afternoon of swimming at their community pool. as i drove in in my big, american SUV with a V8 engine and the A/C blasting- i notice sara cruising into the parking lot too...


she is amazing! sometimes she makes things seem so easy. like biking to the pool, pulling 2 kids and swim gear- in a cute dress and flip flops! we have a lot in common, but we are also very different. she gets me out of my comfort zone very often and in doing so makes me a better person. i adore her and feel so lucky that she is my friend. she has often been my sunshine on the gloomy, german days.
