great movie

please, go rent 'Their Eyes Were Watching God" soon!
i never read this in school, like so many other classics i somehow skipped. and over the past 6 months, i have been challenging myself to read (or mostly watch!) a list of about 15 classics, with women heroines and this was on my list.

i had no idea that it had been made into a movie with halle berry, only a few years ago. so i thought i'd watch it... and i havent stopped thinking about it since. it was a fabulous movie- great story, great acting. i dare say that even brian may have liked it (but he was out of town when i watched it!)

i hope you will watch this movie- and i hope you enjoy it too.
