sunday morning was sad. brian had to leave. he is gone for 6 weeks to little rock, arkansas to get requalified to fly his plane again, since he has been in non-flying positions with the Air Force for the last 5 years! seems so odd that he hasn't flown since 2007! so, he will be gone until the january 4th. we will meet up at his parents house in tennessee for christmas. thank God. and lucky for me, my mom is staying up here with us for the next 3 weeks. to help out with the kids of course, but also just so that i will have someone to share all the fun christmas season stuff with!
so sunday afternoon my mom and i headed out for a little fun for the kids. we went to a toy store and then played at the kids area in the shopping area where the toy store is. it was a beautiful sunny, warm afternoon- so crazy that it is almost December and its been over 60 lately!
my mom hasn't ridden the carousel in over 10 years!
it was a sweet afternoon. nice not to be watching tv, on the computer, cooking or cleaning. sometimes i just forget to go out and have fun!
