just because

today i looked at the 10 day weather forecast and almost choked... rain! what? we have had the best winter ever. it should have been raining here since november, but instead we have had warm, sunny days. so now we have 9 days of rain. i have to admit, we need it. 

so today i channeled my inner-sara leadbetter and thought "with 9 days of rain coming, surely we need our vitamin D today!" so we headed down to the park for a bit after school...

macy is doing SO great on her run bike! she needs no help, barely looses her balance and is picking up the pace a bit too! she even clips her own helmet now.  don't be fooled by the pink bike, shoes and jacket- she had super hero monster trucks in her basket and kept telling us she was "motorcycle girl!"

and now we wait for brian to get home... he left korea yesterday and arrived in hawaii today- the longest monday ever! i was thrilled to know he landed because he is closer to home- in distance and days! and in addition to brian coming home saturday night, my sister and her best friend, sue- who is visiting from boston, will also arrive for 3 days with us!
