Tulip Festival

I was craving a mom & me adventure for Macy and I, so along with my friend Megan & her daughter we did a little exploring over on the west coast.
First stop- Taeanhaean National Park. There are 26 beaches that encompass this unique national park along the Taean Peninsula- and we walked along the breezy coastline to TWO. So we’ve got some work cut out for us to complete the trek when we return again!
Then we went to the Korea Flower Park for their annual tulip festival. There were reportedly over 1.5 million tulips in the park, making it one of the largest tulip gardens in Korea.
It was a great day spent outside in nature with friends, and listening to Macy complain just a little.

Waiting for the bus, everything about Macy took me back to her toddler years-

jucie box, hat, backpack. Oh how I miss tiny Macy. Some days!

First stop- beach hike-

Next up- a unique seafood lunch at the beach where we had almost no idea what we were ordering. Who knew that some people eat fried shrimp with the shell still on?! No thanks.

It was a lovely way to spend a sunny spring Sunday outside!
