We planned to be in Virginia for 5 days, staying with the Melendez's in Woodbridge. Sadly, the Wisneski's were away the whole time we were there, so we missed seeing them
When we arrived, guess what we saw;
The signs are everywhere!

Macy and I went along with Christine to an estate sale, where she came home with an amazing mink, Macy got a ridiculous christmas sweater and I resisted buying these amazing doors-
Love that our church captured this moment of my reuniting with Eve and posted on their social media page where someone saw it and sent it to us-
after church Christine planned an lovely brunch (which would last for 7 hours) for us to spend the afternoon with our old small group pals-
So sweet to see our kids pair up with the Mann's for a game of "corn dog" (Josephine's new name for corn hole!)
Every brunch needs a great selection of dessert, right? We heard the ice cream truck song and off we went to find it! We walked quite a ways, but it worked-
The guys could not believe we did it! The ice cream truck guy was so accomodating, especially when i wanted to pay our double digit bill in coins!
Melendez, Mann and McCullough kids all grown up!
And this just in from Connecticut-
Sparky is doing great, and apparently has a girlfriend now!
A chic-fil-a mom & me meet up with Macy's elementary school besties, Kately & Hannah-
They spent the afternoon on Katelyn's boat and then just had to revisit the neighborhood pool they spent many summers at together from 1st-5th grade!
It's so crazy that we now have 2 State Dept friends from our Jakarta days now living in NoVa. I spent the afternoon with Amanda, and then we all went over to the Lombardo's-
Love the sweet moments at "home"-
And just like that, our VA time was over. Next up California...
