great news- gill is home!
she came home on monday night... however she has a long road of recovery ahead. she was not able to have the surgery she needed, so the new plan is to give her 4+ weeks of healing/recovery at home to get strong before she begins chemo- which will last 6 months. then, once chemo is done she will have surgery again.
she sees the family doc this week for another opinion and has a visiting nurse coming in twice a day right now also. we are praying for a speedy recovery and a visit in 2010 too!
