this is out of order- but here is tate eating breakfast with his really cool new utensil & plate set from auntie kristen. and boy did it help him eat up his eggs in record time! (not sure why the sad look though...)
the beginning of the fun... first we had to read the story of the "first christmas" a tradition we hope to keep up so that the kids might appreciate their gifts even more... we hope!

this is the one gift that tate kept asking santa for once he saw it in the store. luckily, grampy got if for him. tate yelled "yes, it's mine!" when he opened it and did the arm movement to go with the statement- it was so cute!
macy instantly loved her foot (and hand) shaped teether from auntie kristen
brian was so eager to build everything as we opened it- the opposite of how i felt!
what a sweet little "laura ingalls" bonnet nanna...
you cant really see it in this photo- but macy is getting ready to chew on piglet's tag. she is obsessed with chewing/sucking on tags! thanks auntie cathryn (for the tag at least!)

well, we certainly had the relaxing christmas morning today that we didnt have in paris on christmas morning... we have just been playing all afternoon and are headed to a german aquaintance's home tonight for a traditional german christmas dinner- goose and all!
