first it was just a runny nose- and you all know how that ended up! poor baby...
lots of exciting, non-sicky news to share though...
macy is standing on her own!

macy has 2 new top teeth! 6 in total now... (i guess she will be just like her brother and get sick, with ear infections most likely, with each tooth that comes in. great. tubes please!)
i was holding her last week and realized just how big she is now. i still think of her as a baby- of course, compared to her big brother, she is still small. but when i turned around and looked at us in the mirror- she looked huge! she had these long arms and long legs and it hit me then that she really doesnt even fit on my chest anymore... she is more of a toddler than an infant now. tears.
still looks a little sick- or maybe just sleepy. and of course, she must show you her tongue!

i am busy planning a little 1st bday party for her here with some of our cali friends and family and i just cant believe her birthday is so soon! i only have 2 more of these weekly pictures to take... wow. in a way i am relieved that i kept up with the weekly pics and updates for macy- since i want the second child (like me!) to get what the first child did- especially in the first year. but on the other hand, it will feel like a door slamming shut on her first year when i dont post a pcture of her when she is 1 yr and 1 wk old!
