i wasnt quite sure i'd get here, meaning to her first birthday, and still be sane. i was so anxious about being a mom of 2 kids... i have a few more gray hairs and darker circles under my eyes for sure- but we are almost there!
but after this past week, i am really showing the wear of having two kids! i want my macy back. not sure who this new whiney, clingy, grumpy one is...but i'd like to trade her in for my sweet, easy going, content macy. PLEASE!
she is definately feeling better and finished with her antibiotic finally. but- since being sick, she has turned into something else! if a family member even looks at her and she's not feeling it, she is likely to cry. she only seems happy when i am holding her. it's like she came out of the sickness fog and realized that we aren't at home anymore- who are these strangers, what's up with these new places?
plus- i am desperately battling the sippy cup and milk transition with her. i WILL not buy another can of formula. EVER! so, this is the week... only 6 days left until she turns one and she will wake up that day and guzzle whole milk from a sippy cup and LOVE IT! right?
two new party tricks to report- macy can show you where her nose is, where my nose is and when asked what a dog says, she barks! it is so cute. (thanks nanna!)
