saying good-bye

words will never express how thankful we were to have been able to stay with the leadbetter's for the last 10 days of our time in germany. not only because they have a big, beautiful home and are so easy going- but because it was 10 precious days with our dear friends. i joked mid-way through the week that being there was the best "stay-cation" we had ever had and we wondered why we hadnt done this more often- instead of going away with them on our various adventures through europe!

these guys just make everything more fun... like happy hour at the playground!

even shane had a special week- he fell in love... with ME!

but poor macy was treated like cinderella, as evidenced here by her sweeping!

it was a fun, chaotic week all together. 4 kids, 4 adults, 3 dogs and one cat- wow! the dogs actually did surprisingly well and brian only got bit once while breaking up a fight! we will forever be thankful for the hospitality since they went WAY overboard by buying bunkbeds (for tate to be able to sleep in the same room as nick) and buying a minivan too (to get us to the airport)!

something will surely be missing from our life in california... the leadbetter family.
