macy turns 2!

today is macy's birthday! hard to imagine the teeny, tiny baby i held two years ago is a big 2 year old now.

with all the moving we have going on now, i nearly forgot about her birthday- but thanks to her wonderful 'auntie" sara, a small, simple party was planned for her.

here is our family photo- notice tate sneaking his head out of the tunnel on the lower right hand side! and macy was wearing the leadbetter birthday hat- it's almost identical to ours, which is on a boat headed to cali right now! oops!

 this party was so sweet- we brought ice cream bars and popscicles for everyone (it was over 80 today!) and we just took time play and chat. here is proof- diane with her sweet son blake enjoying the day...

 sara and natalie planned a little surprise for all the kids- t-shirts for all the kids to sign and wear proudly when they are apart this summer. here is sara helping nick sign his name to all 10 shirts!

here is my birthday girl! she is such a unique little thing. i look forward to seeing her change and grow over the next year... (and thanks nikki -and kate- for the her #2 birthday shirt this year!)
