when we got home saturday afternoon it was right back to normal for us- we put on our 'mom and dad' hats and jumped right in! tate was at a birthday party for a classmate, so we went to pick him up and watch him ice skate!
it was amanda's birthday, but he spent most of his time with kyra!
what a genius idea to have the kids skate around while pushing these buckets across the ice!
sunday we had another birthday party to go to, but before we did- we snuck out for some photos with live bunnies! (the bunny was so sweet and calm, but we mostly got shots of it's rear side!)
macy was very excited when i told her what we were going to go do- but became suspicious of the bunny when he jumped out of the basket!
tate is a pro at this- he had bunny pics when he was 2 too!
and out goes the bunny...
it was such a fun, sweet photo session! the studio was raffling off the bunny- we did NOT enter the raffle!
yesterday we got invited to an egg hunt at our neighbors house. there were a LOT of kids 1 and under. (for the first time, i think i was the one in the group with the oldest kids! it was kind of relaxing and refreshing!) i told tate that since he was the oldest, he had to hunt for eggs on his knees! he was happy to oblige-
macy found plenty!
i love this next picture. there were probably 20 kids there yesterday, but my kids didn't know them. i was SO thankful that they had each other. while the other kids sat together, my two sat at the table together looking at their loot! at this age, as long as they have each other, they always have a friend!
and while we are on the topic of easter- let me showcase another hailey inspired craft project! these are the easiest and coolest eggs to make-
