This is the 3rd year that I have taken Macy to see our friend Amy's daughter, Elise, in the Nutcracker. The first year it was just she and I, last year we dragged along Brian, Tate and my mom and then met up with Diane and her girls there too. This year it was just myself, Diane and our daughters. We met up for lunch before hand and this year, we got to all sit together!
After the show, Elise came and found us for a little celebrity photo shoot-
And when she hobbled up on one crutch, we were all shocked! Apparently she had injured her hip in the show the night before, however on stage she didn't miss a beat.
