Easter, sunday 4/4

sunday morning we woke up to find that the easter bunny stopped off at our house- yippie! then we hosted a fun afternoon with our amerinca friends- 24 adults and children in total! and in mrs rockwell style- we had an easter egg hunt too! it really was the perfect day- a little sunshine, lots of laughs and tons of good food.

love the presentation of the hams- with the perfect spring carrots

ambra brought 3 dozen 'mexican cascarones' with her from california, which have become an easter tradition for her family. these are confetti filled eggs (empty of course!) which children smash on the parents heads... it was great fun!

i hope you all had a wonderful easter with your family. when i was putting tate to bed that night, he told me "nick said jesus isnt in the tomb anymore." i was shocked! when do 3 and 4 yr olds talk about this stuff?
