tuesday 4/6

on tuesday we went to the mercedes museum... stuttgart is home to mercedes AND porche too- both of which have their own museums. the mercedes museum is very modern- a cool place. however, there was 'an unfortunate incident' there yesterday. my memory card was erased. 350 pictures- going back to december- gone in an instant. but, what can you do right? cry, punch someone, scream- any of the above! whatever. we just wont speak of it again...

prior to yesterday, i was unaware that mercedes made the pope mobile. ambra wanted to get in it SOOOOO badly!

of course mercedes also makes heavy equipment/machinery, buses, dump trucks and this combine that i thought i should feed tate into!

the day ended on a perfect note... my friend sara came over to babysit the kids and we adults got to walk into town and have a kid-free dinner at our favorite italian restaurant. it was such a treat! ambra's meal was the winner- homemade gnocchi in a gorgonzola cream sauce- YUM!
