Godspeed Jonelle

Our good friends here, Brad & Jonelle, invited us over for a bbq as a send off to Jonelle, who was getting set to deploy for 7 months. Jonelle is a Lt. Col. in the Air Force. We met Brad and Jonelle when we lived in California, as Jonelle was a fellow squadron commander of Brian's.

We arrived at their house at 3pm on Sunday afternoon. We feasted, played some games, had a dance party- you know, all the fun stuff. Then it was close to 11pm and we decided to get some pictures of the final families left- as we noted that the other, smarter, families had already gone home at a reasonable time!

Then suddenly it was after 1am! The kiddos were fast asleep...

Thankfully Brad and Jonelle only live a few streets away...

And honestly, Brad- who is a stay-at-home dad- is going to need lots of prayers over the next 7 months too! Just different kind of "God please help me get through this day" kind of prayers than Jonelle may be praying!
