Prayer Warriors for Patti

My mom has lung cancer, again... In April of 2007 she was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, when they found a giant tumor in her lung. Although she fought terribly hard through radiation and chemo, she was told it was inoperable and was terminal. I remember being with my sister when they told us she would have 2-5 years before the cancer would take her from us. My mom said bullshit. She would not give in, and continued to fight. Her oncologist was brilliant, and he too was not going to give up. It worked, and for the last 5 years, she was cancer free!

Fast forward to November of 2015, when she was here visiting with us and had severe pain in her side. We ended up in the ER one night, and looking back, that is probably when her lung collapsed. But, my mom is a fighter and tolerated the pain until February. Her doctor was especially concerned about her weight loss also. She has lost 40 pounds...

So after lots of testing, we were told in early March that my mom has a new type of lung cancer, with a tumor on her chest wall, involving a lymph node, and another in her lung. This type cancer is very aggressive, very fast growing, very deadly. But, once again she is ready to fight! She's starting off a lot weaker this go around, so it will take everything she's got, both psychically and mentally, but she's committed. My mom just became a great grandmother this year, there's just no way she's going down without a fight!

Please pray for my mom, Patti. Specifically pray for another miracle for her to be cancer free. God already cured her once, so we know He can do it again. She is going to need as many prayer warriors as possible, so please share her story with others and just keep praying...
