Tate and Brian had the awesome opportunity to spend an overnight on the USS Constellation with his cub scout pack. The ship was built in 1854, and is now docked in Baltimore Harbor.

Present day-
They arrived, were given tours and jobs to do!
One option for sleeping was in the ship's hammocks-
instead, they chose to sleep under the stars on the top deck-
The night sky-
Here is where they slept, in the daylight-
Dinner and breakfast were terrible, as Navy food on a ship probably really is, and then they learned how to fill and shoot the cannon-
Plus, lots of other fun stuff too. (Can you tell I wasn't actually there? )
But, this kid had a blast!
And Brian was thankful to be sleeping in our soft, warm bed the following night for sure! He's such an amazing dad...
