Ann and I were stationed together in Monterey- her son Issac was 4 months old and Tate 18 months old when we met and became fast friends. From there, we went to Germany and they went to Italy- and they came to see us! Then we went to Cali, they went to Ghana... we were thrilled when we both got DC assignments next! We've had the last 4 years here together and it's been such a blessing to have her back in my life. But, all good things must come to an end so they say... John retired from the Army last year and they are headed "home" to Alabama.
Life gets busy and sometimes we have to plug in where we can- like at the hospital cafeteria for lunch!
Hated to buy the stupid shirt, hated to go to the dumb good-bye party, but adore this lifelong friend (who looks like Renee Zellweger and sounds like Meredith Grey!)-
