Cross country season is here! 50+ kids on the team and Macy is the 4th fastest girl and Tate is the 9th fastest boy. Top 7 boys and top 7 girls each run in the varsity race each week. Exciting for Macy, but a bummer for Tate. However, when the top 7 are injured, traveling or grade pulled- the next in line is chosen. So for the first race of the year, Tate will run varsity!
I love that both kids are on the same team- it makes life SO simple for us all and we happily said yes to chaperoning the team to the race in Seoul-
Half the fun is the bus ride, the other half is just hanging out before & after the race-
I always love to see the kids fun pajama pants!
No pajama pants for Tate, but he does have Fish Flops-
Tate's bestie Drew used to wear his Fish Flops last year, and now that he is gone, Tate is keeping the tradition alive!
