Our neighbor friends, Megan and Paul, invited us downtown to do a Soju tasting- yes please! Sojus is fine. I haven't met any I'd rather sip on instead of wine, but I was up for a fun night out to try to find one.
This place was so cute. The pictures do not do it justice. I wish we knew about this over the summer when Sara & Ambra were here, because they would have loved it as much as we did.
We had no idea that this was a private tasting (of 22 different soju's) and the owner was going to prepare dinner- 3 different and delicious salads for us, cooking the right in front of us when we arrived-
For each soju, there was a different glass. Some were pure art, some very traditional. These ones were fun, with emoji's on them that he gave to us to try to match our personalities-
Some unique tastes- from apple to mushroom to “this one burns” -we learned so much about Korean rice wine and left with our favorites!
