over the past couple weeks, she just hasnt been eating or drinking enough- then last week started a bad cough, runny nose and refusal of all solids. then while we were away, the diarrhea started and a day of vomiting- which landed us in the german ER while on vacation...
macy has an ear infection and a virus that is causing all the symptoms i previously mentioned- plus a red, raw throat which is most likely the reason for the extreme fussiness and refusal to eat. she was also a bit dehydrated, so we have been trying to pump fluids into her around the clock (pedialite by syringe even!) to prevent another ER visit.
she is still miserable, up several times a night, drinking 2 ounces at a time, refusing solids for a week now- and all the same symptoms above too- minus the throwing up, thankfully. she will go see her doctor tomorrow morning...
luckily this has been a 4 day weekend for brian and we have had no plans that couldnt be canceled. so macy has been able to get a ton of TLC and has found some comfort sleeping on our chests too.
