here is some info about us that i want to share. it is so hard to keep in contact with all of our friends and family stateside because of the time change, so when we do talk- i always forget stuff!
we just booked a trip to tuscany for labor day week! we will be staying in lucca, italy and have rented a large 8 bedroom villa with 6 other families- we cant wait! brian and i have visions of relaxing by the pool, watching tate swimming and macy toddling around in her baby bikini, then walking to a local pizzaria for dinner- and then doing it all again the next day!
all other travel plans are on hold right now as we wait to hear if brian will be going back to the states (norfolk, va) for a 10 week class beginning mid-april. if he is selected for this class, our hopes are that the kids and i will also travel back to the states with him. (who knows where the kids and i will be or go once in the states though!) the issue however is that we have 2 dogs that the SPCA stays we can not leave unattended for 10 weeks! hehe. so- we need to find a housesitter- for cheap- in order for me to be able to go. please pray we find somebody- i am REALLY homesick for some stateside time!!!!!
more exciting news is that my sister and (some of) her family will be here NEXT month! (i hate that it is already february, because i feel like i lost most of january somehow- but i am glad we can say ambra will be here NEXT month already!) ambra, her husband frankie and his 2 children- frankie jr (13) and gianna (10) will all be here for 14 days. it will have been 13 months since i have seen ambra when she arrives- the longest we have even been apart. and crazy to think macy will be 10 months old and just meeting her titi!
2010 has kicked off the baby craze for my friends already- kimberly and petie welcomed a baby boy during the arkansas blizzard this past weekend and wendy and sowah (in cali) welcomed two baby girls (yup, twins!) into the world on jan 31- also my god daughter riley's bday! CONGRATS TO YOU ALL! (next up- adrien, then kristen, then ann!)
i hear macy... enough for now.
