Going driving! 12/11

My mom decided to surprise the kids with an early Christmas present this year- and she wanted to go big! 

We had been at the park over the summer and there was a kid there with a "power wheels" jeep and he let macy and tate drive it- and of course they loved it!

well, my mom remembered the joy it brought them and how happy their little faces were while driving it- so she got them one too!

brian and i built it while they slept-

 in the morning, we told them to go out to the garage to see "ninnie's (my mom) new car"-

they couldn't believe it and were SO excited! 

that afternoon after school we promised to take it out for a spin. here is my mom and the the happy kids, getting ready to cross the street-

 tate loves it, but wishes it would go faster- of course! macy is a terrible driver and luckily, is happy to just be a passenger!

 thankfully we have a park and big open field just a block down from our house! if they had their way, we'd be out driving every day! (if only i could remember to charge the darn battery...)
