Family fun day

Sunday we spent the day relaxing! We said good-bye to Cathryn and Peter, who were off for a week long honeymoon to Jamaica, and enjoyed the day with all of the out of town family who were left. There was a lot of swimming- in fact Tate and Brian stayed in the pool for 3 hours straight! 

And lots of playing-

 My kids fell in love with Brian's 19 yr old cousin, Denny. He was SO patient and tolerant and fun with the kids-

 The 4 McCullough brother's all bbq'd us a great big lunch and then spent some time relaxing together too-

And of course, a picture of them doing their signature move- hand rubbing! For some reason, when they get excited they ALL rub their hands together- 

Brian had to leave us on Monday morning, for the next 5 weeks, so we especially loved relaxing with him. And there were some tough goodbyes for him too...

This is Gary. He is married to Brian's older sister, Caron. He is currently battling cancer in both his liver and pancreas. As soon as he kicks that cancers ass, he promises to come to California so we can take him wine tasting-

This is Auntie Barbara. She is Gill's sister and lives in England. Last year she was diagnosed with Parkinson's and while she is still doing fantastic, saying good-bye was tough because England is far, far away and we don't have any plans for an upcoming visit... (She sure would like it if we could get stationed at Mildenhall AFB in England next!)

All in all, just a great day all together. As they say- It all starts, and ends, with FAMILY.
