Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day- those are the Hallmark holidays we have missed being together so far for this deployment. Wait, do they make cards for Memorial Day? Of course they do!
Mail takes about 3-4 weeks to get to Brian, so by the time I got his address, I knew there was no way I could get a package to him in time for Father's Day... So I got an idea one night when the kids were wanting to wear (and sleep with) Brian's uniform hat one night shortly after he left. They looked adorable in the hats, so I thought I'd take a few photos of them to share with him on Father's Day. Not nearly as wonderful as being with them, but we will have a father's day re-do in October for sure!
