Tears. Wow. I write this post in January, almost 7 months after and I still feel all the feels!
Sad, excited, relief, curious, scared, blessed.
From FB: This morning we will leave South Korea, as a family (including our rescue dog) with tears in our eyes- because it was SO good.
We came here rather reluctantly two summers ago, yet still faithfully following God’s lead that He knew what was best for our family. And boy did HE! We quickly fell in love with South Korea and never took for granted our wonderful quality of life here.
But all good things must come to an end. So off we go, “home” to America for a while.
Sparky got picked up yesterday and headed to the airport kennel, with the help of the Korean woman who runs the base kennel because we threw in the towel and paid to have some help!
So with Sparky gone, we decided we would also head to the airport to stay in a hotel overnight to get out of the empty house and be one step closer to leaving the next day.
When we came out of the house, we instantly noticed messages written in chalk on the sidewalk, on the driveway- on the road. As i went further, there were more messages on the road, and another and another. Molly had chalked our way out of the WHOLE neighborhood with the sweetest personalized messages for all 4 of us. I walked around the neighborhood still in my pajamas crying just walking and reading them ALL!
Absolutely amazing.

Of course Bella was with us, she was not leaving Macy's side until the very last minute. And she was our photographer!
We had many trips to the base bus station for suitcases, but I wanted to walk over and just take it all in one last time.

This is what our summer of homelessness wardrobe looks like- with a few cool weather items throw in in, just in cases!
We sold my car a few weeks ago. Brian actually decided to sell his beloved Jeep, thankfully to one of his best buddies Jake!
Brian drove the jeep one last time to the bus station with Jake, and handed over the keys to Jake and watched him drive away with her. I know it was a very hard moment for Brian! Knowing how delighted Jake was to buy her helped a bit I think.
Two years of living nextdoor to eachother- lucky girls! This is seriously the friendship that dreams are made of.

It is time. We are all smiles because it happened!
The bus dropped us off at the airport, then we waited for the hotel shuttle to come get us to go to the hotel. Wide load-
Imagine all this with Sparky & his crate tomorrow! We got this. Adrenaline will get us through!
